Auto Response – Send Znuny Auto-Replies to All Email Recipients

When a customer sends a support request and puts colleagues in copy, only the original sender receives Znuny's automatic acknowledgement — everyone else is left wondering whether the ticket was received. This add-on closes that gap by extending the auto-response system to cover all recipients of the incoming email.

Auto-Responses for Every Recipient

The add-on introduces a set of new auto-response types — "to all" variants of every standard type: auto reply to all, auto reject to all, auto follow up to all, auto reply/new ticket to all, and auto remove to all. These are configured the same way as standard auto-responses, assigned to queues through the existing auto-response administration. When an incoming email triggers a response and the queue has a "to all" type configured, the automatic reply is sent not only to the sender but also to every address in the To and Cc fields of the original email.

Flexible and Safe

The "to all" behaviour only activates when there are at least two addresses across the To and Cc headers, so single-sender emails continue to behave exactly as before. All of Znuny's standard safeguards apply: loop protection, system address filtering, and the SendNoAutoResponseRegExp pattern are all respected for each recipient individually. The global SendToAllTo setting gives additional control over whether To recipients are included alongside Cc recipients, and can be toggled in the system configuration.

Queue-Level Control

Because the "to all" auto-response types are configured per queue just like any other auto-response, you have precise control over where the extended behaviour applies. A queue handling group email aliases can be set up to notify all recipients, while other queues keep their standard behaviour. No code changes are required — everything is managed through the standard auto-response and queue administration screens.
