  1. Do you want to decide for yourself where you work?

    We do! We work completely remotely. Since 2013. This has to do with our culture of trust. We trust our employees and their enthusiasm for their job. It is therefore not necessary to be present in the office. And if you need it, we'll buy you a Starlink connection.

  2. Would you like to work flexibly and independently?

    Regarding working hours, there is only one fixed date for us. This is our daily standup at 9 am (except for workations in a different time zone).

  3. Are all people equal for you?

    We want to treat everyone equally. Not in the communist sense, but in the sense of appreciation:

    1. For us everyone is equally important. Regardless of background, education, age, gender etc.
    2. We have equal payment. That means everyone gets the same base salary.

  4. Is liberty and independence at work essential to you?

    At Znuny, people have a very, very large amount of freedom. For example, the freedom to make your own decisions. Or the freedom to make mistakes. In our opinion, you have to accept mistakes so that employees can develop further and work independently. You can count on the support of your team. But, of course, the work must be done at the end of the day.

  5. Are you an all-rounder?

    Almost everyone has to be able to do almost everything here. Besides our developers, everyone gets a 6-month onboarding in support.

  6. Do you work thoroughly?

    Definitely us. We are not like headless chickens, and our work is transparent (keyword open-source). We always work in the interests of our community and customers.

    We want to share the fun with our work but also enjoy the work itself.

    We have a strong hunch that we're a bit nerdy.

    We Znunys meet around twice a year. Once for a work meeting in the summer and, if appropriate, one in the winter. Anyway, there are also some of us who meet for a beer together after work.

Sure! We have offices in Berlin, St. Gallen/Switzerland, and Coronado/USA. But usually, the entire Znuny team works from the home office.

The first action is that you come to the "lounge." This is a permanently open meeting channel where people romp when they need a break from work. Or you make an appointment with a team member to work in the Office.

Yep! The duration of the workation depends on the time zone you are in. If you are far outside our time zone, a few weeks will certainly do. If you're within our time zone, that's no problem anyway.

As a rule of thumb, you will receive feedback from us within 3 working days.

If your application fits, we will invite you to a video interview (Microsoft Teams). Your future team leader and someone from management will participate in the interview.

Of course! If our first interview goes well, we will be happy to organize an introductory meeting with your future team.

As a "semi-career changer," yes. However, you should have some IT background. But experience with open source and ticketing applications is optional. We can convey that to you.

You decide! If a specific seminar could help you professionally, suggest it. There is no particular training budget, but we know how important it is always to be technically up-to-date. What makes you smarter makes Znuny better.
